Smear test in very early pregnancy??

I'm talking about just after concieving possibly. Anything to worry about???

Wouldn't have thought so - they'd be doing it mid cycle I would think wouldn't they so you'd just be having the conception sex, nothing would be implanted etc. And even so it's your cervix they take the cells from which shouldn't affect anything I would think. But I'm no expert these are just musings.

I had one done the day after I had a positive pg test (at 4 weeks pg). It was at hosp with consultant as I was being monitored for issues anyway, and she could tell I was definitely pregnant from changes to my cervix, but said that it was no problem doing a smear. So I guess if consultant says it's fine to do a smear when definitely pregnant, then probably fine to do it when you may have just conceived.

I had one done the day after I think I fell pregnant. I did mention to the nurse that I was ttc and was that a problem and she said no. DD turned up 9 months later with no probs.
