my symptoms over the weekend have been -
going to the loo more than usual which makes me wince when i pass urine
vomiting
shivers
feeling really tired
and tonight blood in urine and small clots when i wipe myself
will go doctors tomorrow

Dear God woman, that is a cracking UTI by the sounds of it.

Tbh, I'd be calling out of hours. I do not want to alarm you but peeing blood is not good.

Does sound like it; tho I have never vomited with a urine infection, all the other sypmtoms ring true. Definitely worth a trip to the docs.

Yes sounds like a UTI.

In the meantime drink drink drink drink. It will help to flush it out - but you definately need Abs by the sounds of it.

I'd phone the Dr too, I've had really painful UTIs but never peed blood or clots.

going doctors this afternoon.i have stopped being sick but still weeing loads and no more blood.will let you know how i get on thanks for your support x

It sounds like it might even have spread to your kidneys. I had the same symptoms as you whilst pregnant with DS2 and it was a kidney infection. Very nasty, I needed 2 weeks in bed (I am sure you will recover much quicker as you are not pg presumably).

And don't leave it so long next time

well went to the docs and took a sample and yes uti.been given ab's for a week.managed to get some rest thanks to my fab mum.thanks all x
