On thursday I took dd to get her MMR and PCV jab I had been dreading it because of the needle in each leg.
Anyway when we got into the nurses room the nurse asked which jab she was having and I told her the MMR PCV. The nurse looked a bit puzzled and asked if I was sure I told her I was, (DD had her Hib/Men c jab 5 weeks ago and I clearly remember just one jab in her left leg). However the nurse says that the paperwork that she has shows that DD had 2 jabs on her last visit and that there are 2 batch numbers showing on the paperwork. I know thati'm right but the paperwork says i'm wrong and to make matters worse the nurse didn't fill in my DD's red book after her jabs.

So the only proof I have is my memory. The nurse wants me to go with DD next thursday and give her the same jab that I know she's already had....So if I do this DD will double up on Hib/Men c and miss out on MMR and PCV. I just don't know what to do!!

Could they not test for her immune response to the MMR? That would show whether she'd had it or not - if she hadn't then it would be pretty clear that your version of events is right.

I would kick up a fuss with the GP and demand a test.

V bad too that they didn't fill in the red book
