Try 0870 444 8708

Got it from the NCT site - don't know if it's 24 hours tho...

has she asked to see a bf counsellor at the hospital??

Magscat · 05/05/2005 21:03

Could also try La Leche League - this is 24 hour no. 0845 120 2918

I've been in email correspondence on a non urgent issue and they've been great. Am going to a meeting in Ilkley tomorrow. THey meet 1st Friday of every month but don't know if that's the same everywhere.

Good luck

Yes, sorry, didn't read post properly - she should be able to see a bf counsellor at the hosp as well. {angry] when this happens in hsopital - wtf is with not supporting mothers who wwant to bf?

NotQuiteCockney · 05/05/2005 21:10

Depending on where she is in the country, the Breastfeeding Network may be better. They're 9:30 am to 9:30 pm, on 0870 900 8787.

She should be aware that she can check herself out of the hospital. If she feels ready to go, she should get herself away from the unhelpful people. The BFN number puts you through to your nearest supporter, automatically.
