Last month and again this month I have had some brownish discharge, like at the very end of your period, it's happened about 9 days after my period has finished.

Now I know they tell you to watch out for bleeding between periods but do they mean actual blood like in the middle of period or do they mean brownish discharge?

I'm trying to work out how worried I should be, I've never in my life had breakthrough bleeding/discharge of any kind.

I'm on the pill, have been for years, could it be the pill causing it, should I contact my dr to get checked out?

Can anyone advise/has anyone had this?

go to the drs- we can all speculate, but you won't know til you havebeen checked out.

Bleeding between periods means exactly that- brown/red/tarry blood that is not part of your normal 4-6 days flow of a period.

It could be anything froma hotmonal blip, to a uterine or cervical polyp, and more- see the dr.
