costochondritis - can it go away then come back again ?

i had this for a few months and it went away now it seems to be back againat least i think thats what it is

DD's had it twice.

i hink i ge tthis as part og my fibro wheb stressed
have it now

Oh yes I get it every time I have any sort of illness/infection - infact thats how I can usually tell I have a cold coming on because that starts first.

Yes its not nice. Ibuprofen should help because anti inflam. How did you get it in the first place? I get mine every time I have an infection but have read some peoples can start from injury?
