Agua del Carmen: know anything about it? Or can you google in Spanish for me?!

A very kind Chilean lady has given me a little bottle of Agua del Carmen for DD2 (3.5y) who has trouble settling to sleep. I'm sure it's fine but I wanted to check it out before using it. What does it have in it, how do I use it and is it suitable for DD2's age?

I can make out most of what this page says, but a proper translation would be good and any further info any kind Spanish-speakers could find would be much appreciated!

here

is the site for the product....Unfortunately not in English.

Am not a great Spanish speaker but here goes...

made of: herbs and flower extracts, also alchohol

dose: 5 to 10 ml 1 to 3 times a day, in sugared water, infusions, or any liquid

calms anxiety, nerves, etc.

says not for children

Am sure someone will be along with more help.

Many thanks mumonthenet, really helpful. I guess it's not for children because of the alcohol content. The lady who gave it to me said to just give a tiny amount to DD2.

Yep I guess it's cos of the alc.

But

someone once told me not to give echinacea to my dd (8 at the time) - then someone else told me that the amount of alc in a dose was the same as that in a banana - so I carried on giving it!!!

Difficult to be sure - maybe someone else will be along with some advice.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the alcohol tbh - will see if anyone else has any thoughts
