She is loosing loads of wieght but not dieting, she is constantly knackered and is bleedng after sex.
She wont go to the dr's just keeps brushing it off saying she is fine.

She only went for her first smear last year (she is 28) they found abnormal cells so repeated it 3 months later and it was clear. Im really worried.

Didn't want your message to go unanswered - sounds to me like she definitely needs to go along and get checked again - may well be nothing alarming but they could help her by getting to the bottom of the weight loss and tiredness. She must be worried about it if she has told you. Could you go with her to see doctor? She is lucky to have such a caring sister.

has she been checked for fibroids? can cause the bleeding and tiredness.

nothing to do with bleeding...but the otehr symptoms could indicate overactive thyroid???

MUST goto doctors for further investigations.

I do find it a bit odd that it was 3 months later she had the repeat.

Normal guidelines are that she is either referred for treatment or she gets a smear repeated every 6 months until she has three clear smears or is referred for treatment if any of the subsequent tests come back abnormal.

Something is wrong either in the management of sister's case or she is in denial over the abnormal result she received.

Im not sure what she has and hasn't been checked for.

She went through a period a little while ago where she was a wreck she was asleep all the time, she was feeling sick and dizzy and was so emotionall this was as well as loosing wieght and the bleeding. She went to the GP they did a full blood test which came back normal and put her on the implant as they said it was down to the depo injection she was on.

I don't know any other than that i will have to ask her. Im currently trying to give her no option but to go to the gp again, i have said i will make the apt and watch her 3 kids while she goes.
