Ever since DS2 was born, I've noticed... (Possibly TMI!)

Ever since DS2 was born almost 10 months ago, I've noticed that my pee has a much more distinctive odour. It's much stronger than before he was born, and a bit unpleasant but not horrifically stinky.
When I was BF I thought it might be down to dehydration, but he's bottle fed now and it still smells.

Should I go to the GP with this or is it a "normal" change?

Hmm-I think that may be true for me too and I did think it was not drinking enough (I am bf) but now you have made me wonder!

Not just me then? Phew!

I've got a varied and fairly well balanced diet (5 a day and all that) and i know i probably don't drink enough, but it does smell very funny.

Yes I was thinking mine was like mouse wee! Lovely.I don't drink enough though,I really do need more water.

StinkyPee · 06/05/2009 22:46

Can't say I've experienced mouse wee. Is it similar to hamster wee?!

So I really should drink more.

I imagine rodent wee in general has a similar er..theme. Maybe we have a freaky illness! But I think its probably dehydration. Now I am going to have to force more water down to see if that changes anything!

Right, meet you back here in a few days and we'll see if our pee has returned to fragrant normality. I'm off to neck a pint of water before bed!
