Natural cure for eczema and rash

Just thought I'd post some information that some of you may find useful. My four month old had eczema on both cheeks which was becoming very angry and inflamed. I tried all the usual moisturisers and even a mild steroid, none of which helped much. I recently effectively treated myself for perioral dermatitis (a horrible hormonal rash around the mouth) using apple cider vinegar, applied topically twice a day. The good news is that it seems it also works for eczema although it needs to be diluted for babies and young children. I've been mixing a capful into my baby's bath and have seen dramatic improvements already. The brand I use is Aspall's Organic Cyder Vinegar (available from all supermarkets for around £1.50). It has many health benefits and lots of people drink it for a variety of ailments. I swear this stuff is brilliant and apparently it even makes you lose weight (I've yet to try this as I'm breastfeeding). Bring on the vinegar!!!
