I have gastric flu with lots of bowel movements. Sipping weak black currant and feeling pretty yuk.

Any suggestions for what the best thing is to do?

Try a small piece of toast or a plain biscuit/cracker and see how you go?

I can't remember the acronym, but think it's bananas, rice and something else very plain and boring! (BRAT- I think- the others maybe apples, and???????)
Glad you're feeling better!

Toast! That's the other one! Salty crackers then, I reckon if you can't do bread...

BRATY:

Banana
Rice
Apple
Toast
Yoghurt

Basically if it's white, eat it.

My GP recommended flat coke (the full-fat version). Mind you, that was when I had food poisoning, not gastric flu.

Plain rice cakes helped too.

Hope you feel better soon.

Still feel crap.

Thanks for coke idea but I think I read it wouldn't work??

Have been sipping blackcurrant squash and are so bored with it
