I feel like I did when I had high blood pressure when I was pregnant. I've been to the dr and he was really thorough. Checked everything and couldn't come up with an answer.

Any ideas?

Anaemia?

plimple · 25/04/2009 00:01

labyrinthitis??

Amapoleon · 25/04/2009 00:05

He checked my ears, all fine, did blood sugar, little low but fine. pulse a bit quick but fine, blood pressure fine.

I feel like a hypochondriac but I am so dizzy and I feel like my head is in a vice.

Are you eating regularly? Low blood sugar and dizzy can mean hypoglycemia(? when it's too low) so you should be eating regularly to keep your sugar levels level.

Amapoleon · 25/04/2009 00:13

Thanks, I am eating pretty regularly.

What are you eating? Chocolate and caffine =bad. Oats = good.

Amapoleon · 25/04/2009 00:19

Haha, yes I have been eating chocolate and caffeine. [Not only that] I think I'll knock them on the head and see what happens.

Chocolate and sugar give you a sugar rush, when your levels fall after this they make you dizzy and shakey. I do this all the time. Doh! You need things that are better for your body to digest, museli for brekfast, fruit snack, lunch (not crap) etc. Drink more water, limit the coffee. This should help.

Amapoleon · 25/04/2009 00:27

Thanks, I'm off to bed. Hopefully it will go if I cut out the crap.

B12? I get spates of that feeling you get when you step down onto a stair which is actually the floor, if you have any idea what I mean, and I find that B12 sorts it after a couple of days...

Amapoleon · 25/04/2009 15:36

Thanks dead pirate I do know what you mean. I seem to be having periods too often so maybe the vitamin thing is linked. I used to take a supplement years ago.

Are you taking in enough fluids?

moosemama · 25/04/2009 15:48

I have been suffering from horrible dizziness and have just discovered I am anaemic. Might be worth taking some floradix or spatone for a couple of days and seeing if it improves.

Amapoleon · 25/04/2009 18:26

Thanks, I've got to do something, it's awful.

I could probably do with drinking more water.
