painful lump under arm pit

any idea on what i can do to relieve the pain,
had it for years, but not painful until yesterdya, i did shave and went out with a shoulder bag on, which must ahve aggravated it.

It could be turing into an abbsess (sp) I have a condition where I get these regulary, but I forget what its called

in growing hair perhaps?

almost 5 years ago i squeezed it, and caused an infection. i have not squeezed it again but it has now grown and hurts
to squeeze or not?

Yes, squeeze if you can, after a soak in the bath, then apply savlon, or any antiseptic cream.
