Last night I twisted my back - anything I can do to ease it?

I genreally have a bad back (lots of riding accidents, 'electric shock' feelings since epidurals and big boobs) but last night I lifted DS out of the bath (3) and turned funny. It was hard to do much afterwards but thought it would go. TOday has been agony though - not hard to bend down but impossible. I have had to change nappies sitting next to them on the bed etc. Does anyone have any tips on how to ease it? Thanks

I've done that a few times and always gone to teh dr for strong painkillers.

I can't take them (breastfeeding), besides I don't want to mask the pain making me do more damage. I just want a magic trick to make it all better

Thanks anyway

You can take diclofenac while bf

I would take painkillers and try to see a physio

voltarol gel

Can you take ibuprofen? This is an anti-inflamatory. Maybe diclofenac does same thing tho?

Does it ease when you gently move around? Most back problems are better when you keep moving apparently.

Also hot water bottle/heated wheat bag may ease it a little.
