Can I ask some questions about Marina Coil?

Ok so I got in put in because of heavy periods. I had very light spotting for a few days. Then a week later started my period as I was due.

I have now been on my period for one week and one day. I am usually on for 6-7 days.

Just wondering what happened with everyone else when they first had it put in?

I was hoping to meet up with a guy this weekend but dont think I can sy yes at the moment as not sure if I will still be on or not.

Anyone?

i had quite a lot of spotting and i am still getting some bloody discharge and i've had it in for about 11 weeks.

but im not pregnant [hopefull but not quite convinced smile]

Really, I was not expecting spotting for 11weeks... Is it most days or just every now and again?

I started a thread about the Mirena, asking about the pro's and con's and one of the things that was said was that for quite a few months there was bleeding at odd times until things settled down.

I has irregular bleeding for at least six months after I had mine put in.
