Really bad toothache-what can I do to ease it?

One of my molars has cracked in half (i.e. I have lost one side of the tooth) and the dentist is doing a filling "in the next few weeks" . However, my top front six teeth and bottom front 4 teeth are KILLING me. They are throbbing like mad, and I am finding it hard to eat. It is very possible that infection is coming in through the broken tooth, as the hole is huge and goes right down to the gum. Should I march in in the morning and demand to be seen?

It is £75 as the hole is so big, and I haven't £75. Damn them, it is only a little bit of cement or something.

I don't suppose they'll let you spread the payment out over a few months will they?

Not unless it is over £100. I am tempted to crack another tooth just to hit the £100 budget!

lol...it's a sad state of affairs isn't it?! Good luck. Had our 6 monthly check up this morning and all well.
