Mini pill and excrutiating boob pain

Hi. I went on the mini pill a month ago, after years of not taking it. Have been pleasantly surprised so far at lack of side effects EXCEPT that for about a week my boobs have been agony.I dreaded taking my bra off at night as the pain got a million times worse, and they seemed to grow a couple of bra sizes. They were also quite hot and harder than normal. It seems to have eased off now, but is this usual for the pill? Will it stop or is this something I will have to put up with for the duration?

It might get better - is it Cerazette you are on? Unfortunately all mini-pills have some side effects. I've just had to come off mine for excessive bleeding. May be worth asking the GP to switch prescription to another brand if it goes on beyond two months.
