Mirena coil...tell me this bleeding will ever stop?!

Ok so how long should I expect to bleed for. For someone that has periods that last approx 2 days i've been bleeding now for 17 days...and heavy. When does it stop??!!

eeee that sounds rough. Might be worth giving gp or clinic where you got it fitted a ring. I think this can be typical at first - it's hormonal after all, so everyone reacts differently. I carried on having quite lengthy periods but not heavy; some people don't have periods at all. Depend how your body reacts to hormones I spose. Well worth giving doc or nurse a ring though just in case something's up.

I've heard that some people get prolongued bleeding but this is crazy...i'm not sure I could hack this for another month.
