My DD used to drink mine at that age and she is now 4.5 and still alive and healthy if that helps!

my 2 year old drinks them too - I put a straw through the foil and he drinks them through that - much less messy!!

What are the purposes of these drinks and why would your toddler want/need one? (genuine query)

I know actimel says for 3years and over. I was told by gp to give one a day to the children if I could afford it as they are very good for keeping tummy bugs at bay.

I wouldn't waste my money, personally

I seem to remember being advised by the dietician to give them to my 12 month old after he had been very poorly. They did seem to help.

I give them as an alternative to both milk and yoghurt you would eat with a spoon. DS often has one along with his lunch.

Thanks everyone
