Piles during pregnancy- what can I do?

I am 23 weeks PG with DC2 and my piles have resurfaced. I have had them on and off for years but am generally not that bothered by them at all. The last time they really gave me trouble was when PG and after the birth of DS (17 months ago). I could barely sit down at some points and it was sooooooo sore! Yesterday I (TMI alert) went to the loo and there was loads of bright red blood in the toilet, one of my little friends had burst. So they are getting worse and I have constipation too so I am trying to up my fibre intake. Is there anything else I can do? Do I need to see my GP? Or anything over the counter I can buy?

I had them too when pregnant and dr just said they're so common in pregnancy I should just ignore (had similar bleeding experience). So I don't think you need to see GP for medical reasons. However mine weren't sore abd anly arose in week 38 or something. I think Anusol is for piles and over the counter.

Anusol works wonders and quickly too! Get it over the counter at your local pharmacy. During preganacy with ds I was in agony, it was like someone had shoved a dagger up my bum.

Hope you get some relief soon.
