Should I be worried about my liver/pancreas?

Semi-serious question.

I'm not a heavy drinker most of the time but do have a tendency to over-do when I get a night of freedom. My average week I drink under 10 units I guess.

However, in the past I did quite a bit of binge drinking as a student etc. and went through a phase after nights out where I'd be fine overnight but then sick 3-4 times in the morning (the first one my stomach contents if I had any, the next 2-3 were always yellow bile - sorry tmi but it's important).

As I became sensible and became pregnant had a baby I've not drunk that much. However last night I was out and although I never actually felt drunk I got through a lot of wine between about 8pm and 11.30pm (just over a bottle I guess) and then had 1 gin and tonic when we went to the pubs (probably about 12ish) and after that just had water. I had toast when I got home.

This morning between about 4 and 10 I was sick 6 times (first one stomach contents, the rest yellow bile). I couldn't even keep water down. I know I drank way too much in one night medically speaking but the fact that I didn't feel pissed and then was horribly ill suggests to me that I'm somehow not processing the alcohol and my body's not acting very efficiently at getting rid of toxins.

I know the answer is not to drink that much in one go, but should I actually be worried do you think?

Sorry - that turned into a huge essay, really didn't mean it to!

Or that maybe you've had a bug that just happened to coincide with last night's drinking?
