Lactulose and breastfeeding - urgent advice please!

I have just taken a small dose of lactulose - dd2 is 4 weeks and am breastfeeding her

pharmacist said was ok to take when bf-ing but have just read on net should be used woith caution when bf-ing

what d I do? how long will it take to go through system and be ok to feed dd again?

May I make a suggestion: listen to the pharmacist rather than the internet. I take it that it was prescribed by your GP?

no, it wasn't prescrbed, just went and bought some as have been feeling a bit bunged up

I was prescribed it by my GP when I b/fing.

Put this in the breastfeeding topic and someone may know the ingredients of laculose...

I only had 3 spoonfuls, shan't have any more (think I'll make do with prunes!)
