I will post this on conception but was wondering if anyone on here may have some insight.
I am probably rambling here but I was told that I have premature ovarian failure last october after a year of ttc.
pof means that the ovaries are not functioning as they should and ovulation is not happening frequently.
I was told by my gyno to take a months supply of hrt whenever my periods stop to get my ovaries working again and the last time this bought my periods back for 3 months and a day 21 test showed that I had ovulated.
I am now pinning my hopes on hrt inducing ovulation and helping me concieve.
The type of hrt I am taking as needed is a sequential combined hrt which is designed to produce a monthly bleed.
My periods recently stopped again and I went onto another months supply of hrt. At the start of taking it I tricked my clearblue monitor inot thinking I was on day 1 of my period and started using opk's and bang in the middle of using the hrt I got a high then a peak reading on my monitor and positives on my opk's I took this as a sign that the hrt was going to help me ovulate again and timed sex at this time.
If I did indeed ovulate then I would be roughgly 14 days past ovulation.
I finished the pack of hrt 4 days ago but have not had the expected monthly bleed could I be pregnant.
What do other mumsnetters think.
