Loss of appetite

I had tonsilitus a week ago and my appetite has not returned, I am not complaining as I need to lose a stone or so anyway, I still think about food but just cant think of anything that I fancy eating. I am trying to make sure I eat meals but probably eating half what I normally would and being stuffed, i am also not snacking (which is normally my big downfall).
It is great actually, do you think it is likely to be permanent and how do I make sure I actually eat enough if it is, I have lost half a stone in a week, while I do want to lose weight I dont want to do it quite that quickly.
today I have eaten one egg and a peice of toast and I am not even vagually hungry.

Sometimes when you have lost your appetite becasue of illness your stomach shrinks and you feel stuffed when you go back to eating normally again.
Are you feeling better?
Maybe if you try gradually increasing the portion size it would help? ALso it sounds obvious but don't drink when you are eating becasue it'll fill you up.

well my appetite is still seriously missing, I can tell this because the dc have left loads of chips from tea and I havent been near them, I quite like not feeling hungry all the time, I am trying to make sure what I do eat is well balanced but I am not lacking in energy or anything so must be OK. I will be stick thin if this carries on.
