9 mo dd hasn't pooed for 6 days

She did one last Wednesday. Nothing since.
She shows no sign of tummy ache or discomfort. She is bf (on demand), drinks some water, is blwing, so eats mostly fruit and veg.

Any advice / words of wisdom?

Only this: make sure you're out and someone else has DD when she does finally fill that nappy because it will be a doozy!!!!!!!!

Not to worry, breast-fed babies can go from having six poos a day to no pooos in six days. If she seems well, there is nothing to worry about. What goes in must, eventually, come out, and oh boy, will it ever!!!

Sorry, I hit "post" too quickly.
My DS does that on occasion, saves up his poos for 2-3 days. DH and I both work part-time so one of us can be home with him and whenever it's been a couple of days since a poo and it's DH's turn next to stay with DS, DH looks a liitle scared when I leave for work - usually, justifiably so!!

Thanks, she's not done this since weaning started, although she's not a daily kind gal anyway!

Has she pooed today? And if yes, how bad was it?

My little man has been a bit ill, or teething, I'm not sure which, and didn't poo at all yesterday. As I was the one to work yesterday, DH was very happy about this. So he's just toddled off to work and hey presto! DS immediately had a massive blow-out , of the liquidy breast-fed baby variety, which went everywhere and right up the back of his nappy and to his bellybutton ... I swear, the kid knows his papa hates dealing with pooey nappies and he saves them for me... .

yes, we had poo today - twice.
won't go into details but I think baby elephants do smaller ones!
