Cerazette mini-pill and cramps

Just wondering if anyone has had experience of cramps like mild period pains while taking this pill? I started taking it 2 weeks and 3 days ago, and for the last two weeks have had on and off cramping. I am exclusively breastfeeding my 4mo DS so have not had any periods (and dont expect to anytime soon - I didnt have them while exclusivley breastfeeding DD). Its not massively uncomfortable, but I would be interesed to know whether it is likely to be the cerazette that is the cause or something else (to worry about??)? Any experience anyone?

sorry, no, though I've used cerazette for >1 year this time around
lots of people have had other issues with it, eg depression, other psychiatric effects, but has always been fine for me

i was on cerazette for 2 years and never had cramps = also didnt have periods

and 2mths after stopping it,im still waiting for AF

I did a search - had no idea what a controversial pill it was! I havent taken a pill since Monday - decided it really was not worth it at the moment, given the possible side-effects, and can easily use something else on the rare occasion it is necessary - and will rethink with GP when I stop breastfeeding. For the last 24 - 36 hours have not had any cramps, and given what I have now read about cerazette - from on-going periods, to no periods at all - I think that this must have been the cause of the cramps.

though i had no choice, it was carezette or no pill/condoms as i had a blood clot in leg which travelled to my lung and collasped it
