How soon after getting an amalgam filling removed can you start trying to conceive?

I'm just shit-scared about mercury going in my system, so will take some Vit C to boost my immune system, as well as some homeopathic remedies to help the detox process.

However, we were trying for a baby before leaky filling was noticed, so how soon after the mercury-free filling is put in can we safely get on with it again? .

Thanks!

Thanks RR.

I have read a lot on the Net, and only managed to make myself freak out even more.

You are right though, there are 2 schools of very passionate people about this mercury business. The sole fact that it is the most toxic thing on the planet apart from plutonium is enough to make me want to get rid of it.

Am definitely not having another mercury filling put in, but just wondered about the ttcing?

you should definitely wait until you are home from the dentists

good luck

in a healthy sysytem the body will start to shift the mercury but you could do a course of natural chelators to hurry things along.Vit C is a good start I think

My son developed autism at 18 months and whilst i think the vaccinations were primarily at fault I think i had loads of mercury in my system after having fillings removed while I was still feeding him .

A good reputable nutritionist should be able to help

Pagwatch, how scary..

I think I should go back on the pill afterwards really. it's frustrating as we couldn't wait to get another bub going!

thanks to you all.

I had one mercury filling at 2-3 weeks pregnant. My baby was born with severe brain damage, blind, epilepsy, she is unable to walk and talk. DO NOT HAVE MERCURY FILLINGS EVER!!!!!
