Hi everyone. Anyone taking / has taken sertraline/lustral?
I took seroxat for post Natal depression and although it worked for me I have been trying to come off it for 18 months without any success.

Its now been suggested that I slowly reduce the seroxat at the same time as slowly introducing the sertraline - eventually coming off the seroxat all together. I would then stay on the sertraline for a further few months before coming off that too.

Has anyone else done this or just know a bit more about sertraline/lustral.

Thankyou!

There's a thread just called 'Lustral' which talks about this, further down the 'health' topics.
I'm a great fan of Lustral, it seems to have so few side effects compared to the other antidepressants. I've intriduced sertraline whilst coming off imipramine (one of the old antidepressants) and it worked very well for me.
I've never found Lustral to be hard to come off either - only if I've not really been ready.
All the best.
