I had 2 mcs last year and have been having really heavy periods since. Since jan i had bleeding for 13 days then was 12 days late for period then only bleed for 3 days, theres is also sometimes smelly discharge (sorry) and clots between bleeds. Went to gp who has booked me a double appt with nurse and gp they are goin to do swabs, smear and internal examintion!!! What will they do for the examination? And any ideas what this could be cos am a bit worried (prob with all the jade stuff in the news)

For the exam you'll just lie in the usual swab position and the doctor or nurse will insert two gloved fingers into your vagina and palpate your reproductive organs with the other hand to see if they can feel the size of the organs and if there is anything different on the surface of them.

The smear test and swab they can do at the same time. They just put the speculum in and put the smear brush in and then do the swab test.

Expat's right, it will be uncomfortable though. I got a lot (examinations)of these a year or two ago, and all sorts goes through your mind, but look at it this way, they are being thorough and if there is a problem they will be able to treat it

On an internal probe after mc2 a cyst on ovary was mentioned, could this be felt by doctor?

A doctor can only feel the cyst if it's big. If they feel something, they'll send you for a scan to double check for cysts or fibroids.
Sorry about your mcs
