welllllll.................

even tho I am kicking out white blood cells in my wee test, my actual WBC count is 3.4 (normal is 4-9 IIRC), so I am low...indicating not sure what right now.

eyes and headaches and lethargy is still bad too.

upshot tho, and complete shocker, they tried to look into my eyes, my eyes reacted badly to the bright lights and went pinpricky, and the whites of my eyes are pink, so they are referring me to the eye hosptial as they are concerned about the unrelenting headaches, and think maybe my iritis is either back, or that something else is going on.

docs also want to see me again in 3wks if I haven;t been seen at the eye place, to keep an eye on me (excuse the pun).

so, right now, am still broken, but not hidiously so.

oh, am not anaemic, so thats a good thing

Have you been referred for the WBC?
I have no idea what it might be, but I'd want to know.

still broken!

went to the fracture clinic the other day, and on top of the break, her bont is also buckled, which is a new one to me, but common in children.

poor girlie tho........her hand was black with the bruising, and is still very swollen

ooh, nicky, sorry, missed your post

no referral on the WBC as yet as they figured sort the eyes and that might provide an answer...............

it could also be due to post-viral summit???

I had low WBC for a bit. Some auto-immine thing was mentioned but I can't remember what though can iritis be auto-immune I think?

psychomum5 · 13/03/2009 20:50

not sure TBH foxi. it can be related to inflammation somewhere, which I was tested for the last time I was discovered to have had it, and nothing showed up.

that said, no idea if they tested inflammation this time. they did thyriod, liver, kidney, FBC and WBC I think only. the docs even had to ring the hospital as some of the results confused them today.

would be interested to know if WBC can be related to iritis.

Ooh, it's a complicated old thing, the body, innit?

I'm always quite reassured when a doc has the good sense and humility to ask another doc for advice.

Hope they are treating you well - sounds like they are?
