going back on the pill - but periods erratic

DS is 6months and bizarrely I do want to resurrect my sex life (when I am not bug eyed with fatigue!) I have had a couple of periods at irregular intervals, do I need them to settle down before I can start the pill again?

as long as you know you are not pregnant you can start it whenever you want. If you start on a day other than the first day of your period then you will need to take extra precautions for either 7 or 14 days (cant remember which but it should tell you on the info on the leaflet or the gp would tell you)
