My baby has very thick toenails

Hi

My 11 month old has very think toenails on both his little toes, has anyone else seen this and how can i treat it.

He usually just wears socks around the house.

It might be a fungal infection. My little sister had it, it wasn't traeted and now her one toenail is so thick that it can't be cut - it has to be filed down.
I'd get the GP or health visitor to have a look.

Yes I have them on both my toes. My sisters used to laugh at me and called them rhinocerus horns, because they grow stright up, but I'm quite fond of them now, because my Mum had one little toe like it. DS toes are "normal" however.
