I'm on iron tablets and my mouth and tongue are tingling - is this normal?

I've been on the tablets for 2 weeks now and I've noticed my mouth/tongue are totally tingling. Is this what happens with indigestion or heartburn? I know this sound stupid but I've never suffered from heartburn or indigestion.
