DH sudden large ish lump in neck and odd lump under tongue????

came up fairly suddenly tonight, lump on side of neck felt about size of small apple (where glands are, think prob was glands?) but then odd thing under tongue, whre that joiny bit is (sorry for all the technical language ) it was about 1cm long, sticking up to a white point. Very odd. Both gone away now! DH feels OK, was just very sore to swallow

Could have been a blocked salivary gland. I had this, huge lump in neck - thats what it was. It went by itself after about a week.

yes have had the thing under the tongue too, sore swelling which goes down fairly quickly - deffo blocked salivary gland IMO

I always seem to get them at this time of year, fag end of winter, not had enough sun, generally run down!!

Another vote for a blocked salivary gland. If it keeps reoccurring see a GP - a small operation may be needed to remove the blockage
