Pleurisy - Anyone had it and how long to get better?

I have felt ill since Nov on and off and just put it down to the virus's going around. The only thing consistent was cough and feeling knackered but put that down to two under 5 and a full time job.

I collapsed in M&S on Sunday and saw doc today who said I have pleurisy and have prob had it some time. Hes given me 500mg amoxocillin

i feel rough

i am a non smoker but i agree, as much chance of a lottery win than bedrest

dh is off tomorrow though and has promised to keep dd out (shes off too with chect infection) of bedroom as usually get an hour then she creeps in with her books..."mumeeeeeee"

do take too your bed, and rest as much as possible

I was off work for over a week... I felt exhausted for quite a while after thought..

ive been really down of late.I have a busy life with my career which is all a bit mad at the moment (team restructure) and have just felt tired all the time. I seem to have no energy and doing stuff with the kids has left me floored.Im 41 and was thinking its prob my age (not a good idea to have baby at 40 and all that)

at least i know why now and hoping things will start to get better

If i can get dd back in school wed that will give me two days in bed and i want to be back in work thurs

dd seems ok in self but terrible cough and not eating v well.she started on anti b today too

I cant believe I thought I could go back Thursday. I feel so weak now. I guess this is going to take time
