DS2 is complaining of chest pains.

Actually he's says he's got tummy ache, but it's his chest he's rubbing. This is the second day of it.

He's 5, is otherwise well, doesn't have a cough or anything, so I'm not especially worried. but it's his chest. Any ideas what could be up, would you go to the doctors?

Is he worried about anything? could it be a panic feeling?

has he sttretched too far and pulled himself?

has he eaten something hot or sharp??

I would be inclined to give him a magic pill (i used to use a tic tac )and see if that helps.

nick - you may well have hit the nail of the head - he has recently developed a taste for calpol, I wonder if he's angling for some.
