Funny/hideous taste in mouth after eating anything containing sugar

Hi don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but any time I eat anything sweet - even 1 square of dairy milk I get a really foul taste in my mouth. I am currently pregnant with baby no. 4 and have never experienced this before. I am also due for a GTT in about another month.

I have done a couple of googles but I'm not really coming up with anything accurate enough ie I haven't been sanding wood and I haven't been eating pine nuts which seems to be the answer in the other cases.

Any ideas anyone??

metal like taste?
I did with eggs, (the metal like taste) and it turns out that I am have a very mild allergy.

Hiya - this taste is like gone off fake sugar, but thanks for stopping to chat

A couple of people on my antenatal thread are also getting it so it may be pregnancy related.
