had the cells burnt out 2 weeks ago yesterday. the doc said it will bleed for a while then turn watery then eventually stop.

its been watery from the beginning and now after 2 weeks its starting to be a bit bloody as well as watery. is this normal?

im worrying its infected. there is no pain or anything. dont wanna ring doc just yet cos dont wanna sound silly

Ring doc or you are silly

I would ring them. There wouldn't necesarrily be any pain as there aren't many nerves on your cervix.

ok il ring the walk in at the hospital tomorrow morning and if they say i need antibiotics then i can go and get them tomorrow. just cant bare to have any more internal examinations!!

juicy, did you get a cream with an applicator to put up 'there'? I was given one to ward off infection. FWIW, i agree you should get it checked out, just in case. I remember bleeding for more than 2 weeks but wasnt infected.
good luck.

Hi. didn't get given any cream at the time of burning.

the bleeding has subsided now so didn't bother ringing the doc.

also me and dp last night got very passionate and although tried very hard to hold off, we couldn;t hold off any more and ended up having sex too.

now im worried im going to get infection. it didn't hurt though but it was uncomfortable at times

I had an infection after this, the doctor didn't really know what to do or what I was talking about so I was basically telling him what I had learnt from the leaflet! They gave me a little stick to do my own swab in private, no more people rummaging in there. It showed infection and was easily treated with ABs.

Does it smell?

when i had my loop done it was very sore and bleedy for a couple of days, lay on sofa with a hot water bottle for a bit but certainly didnt have what youre experiencing after that much time had passed, i would defo see the nurse at your surgery or the doc hope you get better soon
