apart from swimming.

what classes are there about that is for young kids and adults all in the same class?
there are so many fitness classes and things i want to try but i would have to stick ds in creches or get sitters. it would be nice for us to do things together

Swimming?

bigTillyMint · 03/02/2009 12:54

Oops. And I tell my son off for not reading things properly

Could you book him into a class while you go in the gym?

juicychops · 03/02/2009 13:02

i could, but i know it soulds stupid, and he would be completely fine me leaving him etc as he has no problems being without me, but i would rather watch him do his class and enjoy it with him rather than leave him to it and do my own one. pathetic aint i!!

Well.... maybe you could do that some weeks, and gently wean yourself off him on other weeks

ds2 (age4) has just started trampolining lessons at our leisure centre.

It looked so much fun that I have enrolled on a Thursday night!

It is brilliant!

I take my son to judo. We also have yoga, trampolining, football and tennis handy.

DD (who is nearly 4) does gymnastics. I stay and watch her. There is a mixture of boys and girls at her class.

squeaver · 03/02/2009 13:30

My 4yo dd goes to tennis lessons and I drink coffee and chat watch her intently while she does it.

giantkatestacks · 03/02/2009 13:33

yes karate is a good one - that normally starts at 4-5. Our local one has adults and children together.

Climbing works ok. Kayaking works better.
