14 day menstrual cycle - is this right?

I've just stopped BF DS (10 months) and periods back with a vengence. I seem to be on a 14 day cycle - Ive had 3 periods in January. Do you think it is too early to worry? I had a coil fitted in July

I would suggest going to see your GP or practise nurse for a chat. It could be the coil or it could be normal. My periods after DS3 were horrific (also breastfed for 10 months and periods returned around that time)but they settled down after about 6 months.
