Anybody got any ideas why my lungs should be aching when I have got enlarged neck glands mostly on one side though, v sore arm glands, sore throat, no appetite, tiredness and generally feeling horrible? I've also had a bad temperature but that has pretty much gone. It's been lurking around for over a week already.
Bizarrely I don't seem to have any blocked nose or sinuses - if anything I can smell and taste things more clearly than usual, very weird.
Saw doc and he said that I was obviously poorly, that glands were v big, throat was v sore but lungs were clear, and diagnosed adenitis. Which I think is more of a descriptive diagnosis fancy way of saying swollen glands than one that gives much info . I;ve got a prescription for antibiotics to take if it gets any worse but he thinks it is viral so to give it another couple of days to check before starting them.
And after all that I forgot to find out:
- why are my lungs hurting and should I be worried by it
- how long is this going to take before going?
- is it something going around or something that's infectious that I need to worry about others getting (looks like dh is coming donw with it and looks like there are several other recent threads in here that others have the same thing)
All complicated by the fact that I had a dvt after birth of ds2 recently so am on warfarin so worrying about lying around in bed lots and not being able to do much moving around.
I know this is late, I've already fallen asleep once, have now woken up and am shutting down my pc so will check in tomorrow.
