Is it possible you may have an allergy to something? I know my sister always had mouth ulcers if she ate a lot of strawberries. Maybe there is some other food which you eat regularly which may be causing them?

I had mouth ulcers all the time and thought it was normal. Then I was diagnosed with coeliac disease, went gluten free, and I've had 2 in 10 years.

People tend to get them when they are a bit run down - sometimes multivits can help. However if they are an ongoing problem I would suggest you see your Gp , who may want to run some blood tests.

God, that must really get you down. I don't have any good advice, but MASSES of sympathy.

low B12 or iron or other stuff in the link above

go back to GP, they can give you paste stuff that's much better than mouthwash

have you tried Adcortl in Orabase? You can buy at chemists. You need to use as soon as you start to feel you are getting a mouth ulcer.

Also be very careful when brushing teeth so not to traumatise the membranes in the mouth. New fangled brushes with bits at the back of them to clean cheeks of mouth are a no no.
