Apologies for those of you about to have your tea...

Please how can I cough up my phlegm???

It is driving me mad.

I have a pocket of it deep down and I cannot cough it up successfully, I am barking like a flipping dog.

I had a virus and chest infection with a very dry cough 2 weeks ago...my kids are sick of me hawking it up like some 60 a day smoker.

Any tips on easing its passage?

I've used a technique like this before, and it's helped. Hanging upside down (hips and legs on bed, rest hanging off) can help. Steam can help.

Oh thanks NQC! I'll huff and I'll puff.
