So my Depo injection is now 2 weeks overdue

It was due on the 10th january. I took ill on the 9th and was bedded for first week, had to go through the "come down at 11am and wait to be seen routineto get a sicknote. Then last week, ahd to go down same route, and doc wouldn't do the injection, as he said these sit and wait appointments are for urgent illnesses, I will give oyu your sicknote and thats it".
If I make an appointment to get it done I will ahve to wait 2 weeks. The family planning place was shut friday and today. How much longer have I got before my periods start, can I hold out till Monday/Tuesday?

anyone? Its never been this late before! Not that I'll be doing anyhting me being ill, but I am more concerned aobut teh bleeding starting as the reason I am on it is for fibroids and I get hellish period pain otherwise, crawling ont eh floor type pain and really heavy bleeding.

I am bumping for you. I was under the impression that if over 2 weeks you have to wait til your next af for them to be sure you are not pg? But if you have not had sex and convince them that is so, maybe they will not make you wait.

I personally had to wait for around 10 months before I got my AF after the injection!

I might just say it was due on Monday!
