So labyrinthitis for over a week now. Was etting better I though but nausea worse. SO had childline shift this morning, felt a bit sicky but was ok. AFternoon got worse and worse. Called NHS24 for opinion on what I can take. They told me to go to out of hours. Ofcourse travelling there made me even worse as its really like motion sickness. Got antibiotics and other tabs (for dizzyess i think, to stop takin betahistine) and was told to wait in waiting room and nurse would inject me.

When nurse called me ended up passing out on way to her room, so got injected while on the floor with her pulling my trousers down to expose my crappy primark knickers. Although I was actually too ill to care (until now) Had to lye on a bed for half an hour until ijection helped.

Home now and still feeling rather crap. Cant even have choc to make me feel better as Im likely to vomit it up.

OMG - buckets and buckets of sympathy. Sounds dreadful. What was the injection and will it 'cure' things for you?

Poor you. What an ordeal.

Was an antisickness one. Helped a bit but now whenever I look at my tesco delivery unpacked on the floor I feel so seems to be worse again.

DH had viral labarynthitis a few years back. You have my full sympathy - he keeled over every time he stood up or moved his head.

The symptoms took a couple of months to subside, which is normal (sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear )

Ooh, re-read the post. Crappo knickers not good. Not good at all
