bronchitis stories and how long to get better

have felt ill for over a week now and got really breahless last nigh so went to on call doctors and got ab's
have taken 5X 500mg so far and still no releif
am also taking codeine every 4 hrs
feel rotten
any help or advice

is the codeine amking my breathing wors i read some where than it can do ??
what else to take??

go and get covonia NOW!!! Had bronchitis for 3 months - 3 lots of abs but 2 doses and was well on way to recovery. The nighttime one was ex for knocking me out and so had cough free night the bronchial balsam did it during the day.HTH

the thing is im not coughing much just got awful burning tight pain in my chest and breathing feels laboured have taken 6 ab's so far so how long till they start to work ?
i just want to feel just a little better : (

have just looked at the boots website for the balsam you recommened and its perscription only.
did u get some from your gp?
