But I still feel nauseous now, and have horrible griping pains

Is this viral? How long will it go on for, do you think?

No-one else in the family has it

(Great weight loss aid... I have ZERO appetite )

My Dd was throwing up in the early hours of Saturday morning. She kept holding her tummy saying 'Hurt, Hurt' she's 2.
Nobody else in our family has had it yet though.

I'm hoping the dc avoid it

Hope your dd is better now?

I had it last weekend, started being sick friday night and then stopped feeling ill on Saturday evening. It's a bug, it's horrible but it does go. I passed it on to my OH who got it 24 hours after I got beter and my SIL who got it around the same time as him. My Brother and their baby didn't get it at all even though they were exposed to me the same amount of time.

Gripping pains could be dehydration. Might be worth trying one of those rehydration sachets as they replace salts and minerals you've lost.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

I have been drinking normally and eating a little bit (nowhere near my usual standarsd though )

Will try a Dioralyte to see if that helps the griping. Thanks

If you have diarrhoea, and its ongoing, worth getting a GP apt and having a stool sample done...just in case its not a bug and is food poisoning of a sort that can linger/needs ABs. Dh had one after eating stir-fried chicken

That said, its probalby viral...poor you, hope you feel better soon!

"Beanie how long did it take for you to actually feel normal again" well, I started being sick early hours of the saturday morning and was in bed all day Saturday. Just kept drinking water and sports drinks. I didn't feel right until Sunday mid day and I had diarrhoea on the Saturday. I wasn't even well enough to turn my lap-top on until late Saturday
