Baby with Diarrohea

DD has had diarrohea for the last 2 days. She is not being sick and she is eating and drinking really well. She also seems happy enough.

I was thinking of taking her to the doctors tomorrow if it hasn't cleared up by then. How long would you guys normally wait? I don't want to seem like a paranoit first time mum.

I would wait another 24 hours or so. If she doesn't have a temperature and is keeping fluids down then the chances are the Doc won't do anything anyway. Unfortunately, ds was ALWAYS getting wee bugs like that from Nursery. But if she's cheery enough it'll probably just pass. How old is she?

Thanks - that's what I thought. She's almost 10 months old, I guess we should just watch her closely over the next day or two.

Try feeding her a bit of bio yoghurt, or Actimel. That helps replace the bacteria that the diaorreah gets rid of.
