Ok, I went the doctors on Wednseday (i think), coz I hada nasty cough and felt I couldn't breath properly. He listened to my chest and said although he couldn't hear a lot he was give me antibiotics just in case, as I am 27 weeks pg and he didn't want it to get worse.

I have since gone on to develop the flu and am feeling really rough.

Am coughing up greenyish phlegm (sorry, gross I know) anyway about about 2 mins ago I coughed up some more, only a small amount but there was definately a little bit of blood. Should this be something to worry about? I am on day 4 of amoxicillin.

Thanx for your advice

Is it fresh bright red blood? Or is it streaks of old stuff? If the former, then it's most probably from your throat from the hacking away. If the latter, it's from your lungs and a sign of a more serious chest infection. Generally these things are self limiting and it'll clear up by itself but go on how you feel - if you are getting worse then go back to Doc! Get well soon x
