sinusitis since Xmas eve... driving me mad!

Posted elsewhere today re corticosteroids... that's what gp's given me today. Can't stand them & don't want to take them. Had the antibiotics, nasal sprays, etc. but am still in agony. What should I do - take the damn things or can someone suggest something less radical?

Listen you crazy woman, I'm assuming the doc has presribed a 3-7 day course of steroids. You are not going to become an obese beach wale overnight(promise). Take them and hopefully enjoy the relief.

A weeks worth will be fine and better than sinusitis.

No advice but I sympathise. I too have had it (including permanent headache) since boxing day.

Is this blocked sinuses, concrete snot kind of thing?

LOL at you crazy woman. so true! I started the treatment anyway since dearest MN didn't respond to my pleas before bedtime (sob!) & it's totally wiped me out. Either that or I've got the flu... I feel like the biggest hypochondriac ever. Dh & dc are getting v. tired of seeing me in this state.

(& it's for 9 days, not 6)
